Terms of service
Last updated 26 September 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Abilaas, you agree to these terms. If you're using Abilaas on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Grant access to others (including your accountant) only through the roles provided in the app.
3. The free trial
The 30-day trial gives you the full product for one company and one user, with no card required. When it ends, your account becomes read-only until you choose a plan — your data is not deleted.
4. Plans & payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance, in INR, for the billing period shown for that plan on the pricing page (currently yearly), at the price shown there. The price shown is the amount charged at checkout — nothing is added on top of it.
- Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms of use. We never store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Paid plans run for a fixed term (the billing period shown for the plan) and are billed as a one-time payment through our payment processor, rather than an automatically recurring charge. Renewing for a further term is a separate purchase you make before or after your current term ends. We'll give reasonable notice of any price change before your next purchase or renewal.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from within the app. If your paid term lapses without renewal, your account becomes read-only — your existing data is preserved, but you cannot create or edit records until you renew or upgrade.
4a. Refunds & cancellation
- The 30-day free trial requires no payment, so no refund applies to it.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable for the remainder of a billing period once that period has started, except where required by law or at our discretion for a verified billing or technical error (for example, a duplicate charge, or a service outage that materially prevented use).
- To request a refund or report a billing issue, contact hello@abilaas.com within 7 days of the charge; we respond within 2 working days.
- We reserve the right to suspend an account and pursue recovery in the event of a fraudulent or unauthorised chargeback dispute.
5. Your data
The business data you enter is yours. We process it only to provide the service, and you can export it at any time. We do not sell it. See our privacy policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Abilaas for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or other customers' data.
7. Availability & changes
We work to keep the service available and improve it over time. Features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
8. Liability
Abilaas is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Keep your own backups of critical records.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of the jurisdiction in which Abilaas is registered.
10. Grievance officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, complaints or concerns about this service can be raised with our Grievance Officer at hello@abilaas.com. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
