What you don’t get elsewhere

Eight things most billing software still won’t do.

Not a longer feature list — a shorter working day. Every one of these is in the product today.

01 / 8

Keyboard-first, the way Tally taught you

A real shortcut engine, not a few hotkeys. Alt+K opens a command palette, F-keys jump modules, arrow keys walk the invoice grid cell by cell, Alt+Shift+S saves, and “?” shows every shortcut live for the screen you're on.

Without it: Reaching for the mouse forty times an invoice.

02 / 8

Photograph a supplier bill. It never leaves your server.

Scanning runs on your own machine — the bill is not uploaded to anyone's cloud. It reads a GST invoice or a pharma distributor bill into the purchase form, batch and expiry included. Every field shows its confidence, and nothing saves until you say so.

Without it: Typing 30 lines off paper, or emailing your books to a stranger's API.

03 / 8

It tells you what this customer paid last time

Every line quietly shows the last price this party was charged — or this supplier was paid — with the date, the document number, the quantity and the discount. One click copies it onto the line. It never fills a price by itself.

Without it: Scrolling old bills, or guessing and losing the margin.

04 / 8

It won't let you bill above MRP

A sale line priced over the MRP printed on the pack is stopped before it saves. Legal Metrology caps a packaged good at its printed price and the DPCO does the same for scheduled drugs — so the software checks it instead of trusting the till.

Without it: A silent overcharge that surfaces in an inspection.

05 / 8

Three kinds of printer, one pipeline

A4 and A5 on the laser, 58 / 76 / 88 mm on the thermal roll, and 9.5″ or 15″ fanfold on the dot-matrix that has been in the corner since 2004. Same document, same totals, three genuinely different page models.

Without it: Buying a new printer because the software only knows A4.

06 / 8

Design your own invoice — and it prints everywhere

Lay out your own document visually: header, body and footer bands, your logo, your terms, your column order. Saved as a versioned layout that flows through the same print, PDF, email and share pipeline as every built-in theme.

Without it: Living with someone else's template, or paying for a custom build.

07 / 8

Search that understands what you typed

Type a GSTIN and it searches GSTIN columns. Type a phone number and it searches parties, not documents. It works out what you gave it, plans three or four sources instead of eighteen, and ranks the answers on the server.

Without it: Four different search boxes, none of which find the bill.

08 / 8

The cashier's question, already answered

A party walks up. The screen already shows what they owe, how they normally pay, and which bills this money clears. It fills only the fields you haven't touched, shows exactly what it did, and undoes in one click.

Without it: Adding up open bills by hand while a queue forms.

Founding cohort · open now

We're onboarding our first businesses.

Abilaas is new. Instead of a loud launch, we're taking on a small first group and working with each one directly. If that's you, here's what comes with it.

Start free

Limited spots · you work directly with the founders

  1. 01

    Hands-on migration

We bring your items, parties and opening balances across from spreadsheets or your old software — with you, not over email.

  2. 02

A direct line to the team

Talk to the people building Abilaas. Not a ticket queue — the founders, on the phone.

  3. 03

    A say in the roadmap

Tell us what your trade actually needs. Founding customers shape what gets built next.

  4. 04

    Launch pricing, locked

Whatever price you start on is fixed for twelve months, whatever we change for everyone else.

Pricing

Thirty days. Every feature. No card.

The trial gives you the whole product for one company and one user. When it ends nothing is deleted — you can still read, export and print everything, and choose a plan whenever you are ready.

Questions

Got questions?

The awkward ones too — including whether we're a brand-new product. We are, and we answer it straight.

Getting started

Yes. Abilaas is new and we're onboarding our first businesses now. That's deliberate: founding customers get hands-on migration, a direct line to the team, a say in the roadmap, and launch pricing locked for twelve months.
